About Tara Shaw – Bob Ross Certifided Instructor IN DFW

Nice to meet you! Like so many I grew up watching Bob Ross on the TV. I’d often thought about trying oil painting but was quite intimidated by it. I dabbled in many other artistic areas over the years and even attempted to replicate Bob Ross in acrylic before finally deciding to try oil painting. I found a class offered by a local Bob Ross instructor Vic Spellman and signed up. He was taught by Bob Ross and Annette Kowalski directly! Under his guidance I learned the techniques and continued enjoying his classes over the years until I ultimately decided to become a Bob Ross certified instructor myself. I taught friends and family during the time I was completing certifications and then ultimately started offering classes to the public to help bring the joy of painting to others.

Painting is a fantastic creative outlet, and whether you paint to sell paintings or just for your own enjoyment I’ll help you develop skills in the techniques. You’ll be able to watch Bob Ross and paint along with him as well.
